Everbon Jian Shan Mansion: A Rustic and Ethereal Share Lobby

Bringing Nature and Comfort to Life

Inspired by the natural beauty of Mount Emei, the Everbon Jian Shan Mansion by Yiting Lu of MOD DESIGN is a share lobby that embodies the serenity and simplicity of its surroundings. With its rich layers and stereostructures, this flexible space not only serves various functions but also creates diverse living scenes that harmonize with nature.

Located in Mount Emei, Sichuan, the Everbon Jian Shan Mansion is a testament to the unique geographical features of the area. Drawing inspiration from the layer upon layer of mountains, deep valleys, and serene stone buddhas, the designers have carefully integrated contemporary design techniques to capture the essence of simplicity, clumsiness, and tranquility.

The share lobby is designed as a flexible space with different areas serving as communication and gathering platforms. From the Reception Area to the Lobby Bar, Leisure Area, and Hot Spring Sales Area, each section offers a unique experience for visitors. The use of contemporary techniques creates a rustic and ethereal atmosphere that transports guests to a world of natural beauty.

One of the key features of the Everbon Jian Shan Mansion is its attention to detail. The space is adorned with hand-crafted potteries, flowers, wooden seats, and various ornaments, all carefully selected to enhance the beauty of the surroundings. The combination of raw wood color and marble creates a quiet and elegant style, while the lighting, designed in the form of Masayuki Tsubota, adds a dynamic visual effect reminiscent of water drops falling into a still lake.

By adopting the concept of Gray Space (Transition Room), the designers have seamlessly connected the indoors and outdoors, creating a coherent and layered space. The integration of objects and instruments, as well as the interaction between people and objects, adds a sense of flexibility and liveliness to the environment. Art paintings of landscapes, hand-crafted bamboo-weaving ornaments, and lighting inspired by fishing nets further enhance the space, infusing it with a yearning for nature and humanity.

The Everbon Jian Shan Mansion, completed in May 2020, is a testament to the successful fusion of modern design techniques and the natural ecology of Mount Emei. It offers a pleasant dwelling near the mountain and lake, providing a soothing and uplifting experience for visitors.

This exceptional design has been recognized for its creativity and ingenuity, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award honors designs that exemplify excellence in art, science, design, and technology, contributing to improvements in quality of life and making the world a better place.
